Architecture4kids Gratitude from the kids

Dear members,
Since this is the season to give, we thought we would update you on the behalf of our members who have been giving to the kids on the North Shore Architecture4kids program. We too would like to thank Kate Busby and Candace Gillispie

Dear Kate and Candace,

Thank you both so very much for inspiring our young architects in your program these past weeks. As was obvious from the wrap-up session Monday, they learned much about the design process, the work of architects and now have a new found respect for the built environment. The enthusiasm and pride that you both helped engender was phenomenal and I hope you too are pleased with the outcome. The work that was created provided rich evidence of their new knowledge and I know will be with them for years to come. Well done!!

Congratulations on the inaugural session of Architecture for kids. I have had the opportunity to speak with a few of the teachers who had students in the class. The students have been so inspired that each week they have returned to their own classrooms to share what they have learned. While you had the pleasure of working with 24 students, you have actually reached out and touched hundreds more. Thank you for your dedication and willingness to share your expertise.
